Always be Prepared
So today i’m at the barbershop getting my haircut. I decide to bring some stuff with me to work on while I wait patiently for my turn. While waiting, I strike up a conversation with an older gentleman who I guess is interested in some of the items I bring to work on. We talk for a little while and he sees potential in some of the services I can offer him, and before I know it he asks for my information and what do you know? I don’t have my business cards with me. They’re sitting right on my desk in a box wondering why the hell I didn’t bring them along with me. So just a word to the wise, no matter what industry you’re in and if you feel that running simple errands around town doesn’t require you to bring any type of personal information for you to pass out, just keep in mind, you might get passed up.

Sometimes the troubles and stresses that follow us are unavoidable. With the bad economy, stories on the news about shootings/killings, natural disasters, unemployment risings, personal relationships turning sour, financial woes, etc … it seems whatever stresses are out there are more up for grabs than anything positive.
